Snack
*Make sure your student has a snack for school. The mornings are long as we don’t eat lunch until 12:35.
*We ask that you send in healthier options – one good guideline is to check ingredients and if sugar and/or high fructose corn syrup (or any other way it would be listed is in the 1st three ingredients) don’t send it.
*As a team, we also ask that students are only bringing water to class to drink.
Birthday Celebrations - Homeroom
*If you choose to send something in for your child’s birthday, we again encourage it to be a healthier option. If you do send in something like cupcakes, maybe the smaller sized ones would be a better option.
*Also, please keep in mind that although we want to acknowledge the birthday, we don’t always have tons of time to celebrate. A small treat that doesn’t take much time is best.
* If you can, please tell the Homeroom Teacher ahead of time that you will be sending something in.
*Your students birthday will be celebrated at the end of the day during our SSH time.
